the first observation here is pretty random:
the two circled lights can’t both be placed because all the other lights shown will be forced, and there will be no way to rescue both remaining Xs. therefore, we must place these two lights:
now, we apply some line-counting:
if neither of the blue squares are lit, then the green 1 will be suffocated.
after drawing these Xs, we can determine the lights of the central 2 (shown above).
now note that we cannot play the red light:
otherwise the blue square and X are forced, and by line-counting the yellow squares are eliminated and thus the green squares are forced…but these conflict with each other, so it’s impossible.
from here, we just play rescues and follow the flow:
